Personal Injury
If you’ve been hurt by someone’s negligence, you may be able to recover for your medical bills, property damage, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Although car wrecks are not the only instances of personal injury from which you can recover, they are the most common, especially in and near Atlanta. Then, as if dealing with piling medical bills and agonizing pain isn’t stressful enough, the insurance company will work their hardest to close your claim as quickly as possible with the lowest settlement. Many people don’t realize the extent of their damages until months after the accident - and by then, without an accident attorney, you might sign away your claim forever and leave money on the table.
Unfortunately, I am unable to turn back time and undo your injuries. However, with my experience and unwavering determination, I will make sure you leave no money on the table and collect every dollar you’re entitled to. Remember, insurance companies are just that - companies. They are not people and they have no morals, so they will not hesitate to use every trick in the book to undermine your claim and downplay your injuries to save a dime. These tricks are nothing new to me and I’m equipped with all the necessary tools to fight against them.
Don't waste time - call me today so we can get started on getting to know you and gathering evidence to build your strongest case.
Tenant Law
Negligent Landlord:
Georgia legislators have done a poor job in enacting laws to protect tenants. As a result, much of the law is landlord friendly and leaves tenants with few options after dealing with negligent landlords. Although the law is mostly landlord friendly, landlords are required to provide tenants with a habitable space. If your landlord has violated this law and allowed your rental space to become uninhabitable as a result of their negligence, you may have a claim against your landlord. Call me to discuss your potential claim and I will help you navigate the complexities of this grey area of law.
Eviction:
In Georgia, landlords are required to give tenants 60-days notice to move out. Even then, this may depend on what the rental lease states. Time and time again, I have come across landlords who try to evict tenants with a week’s notice (illegal!) or try to evict tenants before the lease is up without a valid reason. If you’re faced with an eviction notice, give me a call today to discuss your options.
Criminal Defense
Every criminal case is different, with its own set of circumstances, challenges, and opportunities. That’s why a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. I take the time to understand your unique situation and build a strategy tailored to you. If you’re facing charges, the best step you can take is to reach out and discuss your case directly because the right defense starts with the details of your story.
